Lexus Fuel Pump Recall

Lexus has announced the addition of thousands of vehicles to an already existing recall involving defective fuel pumps. According to the manufacturer, the fuel pumps have a propensity to fail, causing the engine to stall while the vehicle is in motion. This can lead to an increase in the risk of an accident.

It is unclear as to whether there are any known incidents caused by issues related to this fuel pump recall.

Lexus has advised it will start notifying the owners that have been affected by May 2020.
